HYREMYND LINKEDIN SOURCER — PRIVACY POLICY

1. About this extension

The HyreMynd LinkedIn Sourcer is a Chrome extension that lets a person who is already signed in to their own HyreMynd workspace capture the single LinkedIn profile they are currently viewing and import it as a candidate into that workspace. It is a recruiter tool with one purpose, and it does nothing in the background.

2. Information the extension accesses

The LinkedIn profile you choose to capture. Only when you click "Capture this profile", and only on the LinkedIn profile page (linkedin.com/in/…) open in the active tab, the extension reads the page's visible text — the candidate's name, headline, location, current title and company, and the publicly displayed work history, education, skills and languages. It reads no other tabs, runs on no other sites, and does nothing until you click.

Your own HyreMynd account information. To show who is signed in and let you pick a role, the extension reads your name, avatar, role, company, and your list of published jobs from your configured HyreMynd workspace.

The extension does not read your LinkedIn password, your LinkedIn messages or connections, your browsing history, your keystrokes, or any tab other than the one you explicitly capture from.

3. What is transmitted, and to whom

The captured profile is sent only to your own HyreMynd workspace (the origin you configured in Settings — by default https://www.hyremynd.com), over HTTPS, and only when you click Import, in order to create the candidate in your account.

Nothing is ever sent to the extension's developer or to any third party. The extension contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or telemetry of any kind. The only network requests it makes are to the HyreMynd workspace you configured and to LinkedIn (the page you are viewing).

4. Authentication

The extension authenticates using your existing HyreMynd session cookie, which your browser already holds because you are signed in to HyreMynd. The extension does not collect, read, transmit, or store your password or any access token.

5. What the extension stores on your device

Using Chrome's extension storage (on your device and your Chrome profile only):

• Your workspace URL, synced across your Chrome.
• Your last selected role.
• A short-lived, in-memory cache of your own identity and role list for the duration of the popup session, cleared when the browser closes.

The extension does not persist captured candidate data. A capture lives only in the open popup and the page until you import it or close the popup.

6. Data retention and deletion

Candidates you import are stored in HyreMynd, governed by HyreMynd's main Privacy Policy and your workspace's data controls — not by this extension.

The small settings stored locally by the extension are removed when you uninstall the extension or clear its storage from chrome://extensions.

7. Permissions and why they are needed

• activeTab — Read the profile only on the tab you clicked from — no standing access to your tabs.
• scripting — Inject the capture script on demand, only when you click Capture.
• storage — Remember your workspace URL and last role pick, and cache your session for the popup.
• Host access to *.linkedin.com — Limit where capture can run to LinkedIn.
• Host access to *.hyremynd.com — Read your session and roles, and import the candidate, on your own HyreMynd workspace.

The extension requests no broad (<all_urls>) access and contains no remotely hosted or executed code.

8. Our commitments

• We do not sell or transfer your data, or the captured candidate data, to third parties.
• We do not use or transfer this data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose (sourcing a candidate into your HyreMynd workspace).
• We do not use this data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
